Album Nineteen
First three photos sent in by Ann Roberts.
Over the past couple of years I have been tracing my family history on my father's side of the family.  They originated in Somerset but moved to Blaina in the mid 19th century.  My grandfather and grandmother were William and Margaret Jelly and they are seen in this picture with my father - also named William.  I am not sure if this is Alexander Street or Abertillery Street, Blaina as they lived in both.  I am hoping to visit Blaina next month with one of my new found cousins and we are going to explore where our parents.
My grandfather, William Jelly, is on the left of the back row with the bassoon.  I am not sure what the band/orchestra is but assume
that is was based somewhere in Blaina.

My thanks to Dawn Finch for sending in these photos.
These photos are of my family (grandmother).  They lived in Cwmtillery at 13 Eastside - which can be seen in the photos.  My grandmother is in the school picture (the one with the damaged face I'm afraid) and I have family members in the two football teams.  If anyone can put names to faces I would be thrilled!
My family name is Morse and the parents were Amelia and William - with children Percy, Rose, Eric, Eva (known as Audrey), Irene, Dorothy May, Iris, Victor, William Jr and Lillian - a rather crowded house I think you will agree!
Album Eighteen A This album was suggested by Beryl Rykala and its topic is
"Vintage vehicle's of past years".
I'm sure there must be loads of photo which would come under this category and you would hopefully want to share with us all. So go on and dig into all those photos and see what you can find.
Beryl has started us off with her fathers 1954 Ford Thames and added a Leyland Octopus
